Our work is led by Fiona Kahukura Hadley-Chase<\/strong>, who brings a deep passion for sharing the stories and traditions of the Ruapehu region. With strong connections to the local community, Fiona ensures every experience is authentic and grounded in manaakitanga and cultural respect.<\/p>\n

Hinemaia Charitable Trust was born from a desire to share the stories and spirit of Ruapehu while supporting our communities to thrive. Guided by the values of kaitiakitanga (guardianship) and manaakitanga (hospitality), we create opportunities for visitors to connect deeply with this land and its people while giving back to the communities that call it home.<\/p>\n
